High Grove Early Childhood Center supports children in reaching their highest potential by utilizing developmentally appropriate practices in a safe and nurturing environment. By partnering with families, we build positive relationships which promote lifelong learners.
Our building utilizes Conscious Discipline by Dr. Becky Bailey to "integrate classroom management and social-emotional learning." (www.consciousdiscipline.com). We focus on the regulation of our own emotions, assisting children to regulate their own emotions, cooperation, and developing problem-solving skills in real-world situations. Ask any of our staff about how this looks at HGECC, we would love to share with you!
