My name is Kim Sutherland. I have been working as a Speech/Language Pathologist for 26 years and 21 of those years in the Grandview School District. I have worked all over the district. I spent the first 5 years at Meadowmere Elementary and Grandview High School, then 11 years in Early Childhood. Currently I am the district speech/language diagnostician and travel to all of the schools testing students with speech and/or language concerns. I have loved these past 5 years as the diagnostician because it allows me to see students and families from all over the district. I have watched kids grow and develop over the years which has really been rewarding. I have a website with a blog that is attached to this page. My goal is to make all families feel comfortable with the special education process specifically with their child's speech and language development.
